- Living Dark is a flex skill and can be changed out to for example Elude or Repentance or any other skill of preference
- The Restoration Staff is there for Life Giver and the ability to Heavy Attack for more magicka sustain and healing. Ice staff works as well.
Build 3: Magicka Melee
This is a very straightforward and simple build to play and does not require Scribing. It is kept here as a “beginner” spec for those not yet familiar with the intricacies of PvP.

- While the Penetration on this build may seem low at first, keep in mind that Major Breach is applied by Elemental Susceptibility and Minor Breach is applied by the Absorb Stamina enchant. The latter also has a decent uptime due to the Charged Trait.
- The Dual Wield enchants are chosen because of their status effects, increasing the enemy’s damage taken.
- Magicka Templar works with a wide variety of sets. The best alternatives include Wretched Vitality and (Perfected) Olorime. Other alternatives are Clever Alchemist, Mechanical Acuity and War Maiden.
- Alternative monster set: 1pc Baron Thirsk + 1pc Magma Incarnate.
